Modern Content Marketing with Amanda Natividad
Wednesday Aug 02, 2023
Wednesday Aug 02, 2023
Do you know what "zero click content" is? Our guest on this show coined the phrase and her approach to content development is super interesting. You might be reconsidering your social media strategy after hearing her on this one!
"But if we're posting valuable content -- that people can consume just bite-sized pieces of -- or get that discrete value from just by scrolling through, we're going to increase our impressions. And then over time, ultimately, drive more traffic to our site or increase conversions from those impressions."
The creator economy continues to evolve and Amanda Natividad will help us to be refreshing! Join us to explore a modern way to approach content marketing.
Our guest

Marketing in the Age of Trolls (and Counter-Cultural “wars”) with Cass Cooper
Wednesday Jun 28, 2023
Wednesday Jun 28, 2023
Our guest on this one is a repeater - her episode was the 4th most downloaded all-time at the time of publishing this (episode 88 - on personal branding)! She knows her stuff and is an absolute delight.
There is nuance in how we approach opposing views online. How we approach it with our marketing is even more nuanced.
"I think the biggest thing right now is we're in a really crazy space that we've never been in before, with everyone having access to so much information, so much misinformation, so much disinformation, that it is really, really hard for marketers to accurately and effectively not just target the group they want to speak to, but reach and break through."
We get pretty deep about how marketers should look at inclusive strategy & language, authenticity, and awareness.

Humanize Your Brand Through Chat Automation with Danny Monzon
Tuesday Mar 28, 2023
Tuesday Mar 28, 2023
Our most popular episode up until now was on a similar subject, so we're really happy to have this guest on to revisit it -- but with a big twist!
Our guest Danny does a great job of differentiating "chat automation," "messenger marketing," and "chatGPT," and how they work through the sales funnel and beyond.
The technology is important, but it's also fundamentally important that we are humanizing our brand voice through these chat automations.
"Another one of my mantras that I live by is don't try to automate anything that you've been unwilling to get good at doing manually. Otherwise, you will automate failure."
He talks us through why most bots are not doing their intended jobs -- because of the humans behind them -- so that's becoming more important as more people and brands are using these tools.
Our guest...
- Danny Monzon
From NYC nightclub promoter to Award-Winning agency founder, Danny specializes in chat automation, building customer retention strategies that humanize a brand's voice. He's a two-time speaker at the Midwest Digital Marketing Conference in St. Louis, at Social Media Day Jacksonville, and at multiple virtual summits.
